
Invitation to LTC training!
You are invited to apply for a training series under the Lets Talk About Children project.
What is the Let's Talk About Children program?
A method of working to integrate the well-being of children and families into all social services (for adults and children) and offering help when needed (prevention or intervention)-before everyday obstacles turn into challenges. It's a methodology that is well known and widely used in Finland, and was developed in collaboration with one of the leading and oldest organizations working on the mental health of young people- MIELI: https://mieli.fi/en/
Who is the program for?
The trainings are dedicated to people working in day care centers for children and adolescents, in schools and educational institutions, dealing with the area of mental health of children and adolescents as educators, psychologists, therapists or social workers, as well as people providing professional support to parents/guardians and caregivers of children and adolescents.
What does the training cycle look like?
It assumes in-person as well as online meetings and supervision, equipping participants with new knowledge of methods of working with children/youth as well as adults to best support the well-being of young people. Please see the posted training cycle outline below.
The first live training meeting will be held on 14- 15.09.2023 in Lublin, in English. All materials as well as meals will be provided by the organizers.
As part of the training, participants will be asked to conduct five-seven LTC discussions (some supervised in a small group, some in the form of a written report). At the end of the project, all participants will receive a certificate of participation in the entire training cycle.
