The main theme of the meeting was a focus on the child, communication with and about young people. And all of this in the context of the Let's Talk About Children method - an evidence-based psychosocial intervention designed to promote children's mental health, especially in families where the parent is struggling with mental health challenges. LTC is particularly effective in supporting families in distress, such as those whose parents are experiencing depression, substance abuse or other mental health disorders. A key advantage of this method is its flexibility, as it can be adapted to different cultural contexts while addressing the core issue of child and family well-being.
In this context, it was extremely important for us to invite so many diverse experts and practitioners to join the conversation. We strongly believe in complimentary, complementary, holistic support.
Thank you for your involvement on Friday and we look forward to participating in future events we organize.
