Program Let's Talk about Children in Poland
LTC is a methodology that is well known and widely used in Finland, and was developed in cooperation with one of the leading and oldest organizations dealing with the mental health of young people- MIELI. It was developed by psychiatrist Tytti Solantaus based on years of experience working with children and their families. It involves addressing the well-being of those receiving support in various facilities and schools, strengthening family strengths and identifying difficulties. The approach is based on working on the family's resources and on specialists working together with parents to prevent difficulties from developing, while strengthening children. The LTC method can be used in working with families with children from infancy through adulthood.
The method is dedicated to those working in day care centers for children and adolescents, in schools and educational institutions, dealing with the area of mental health of children and adolescents as educators, psychologists, therapists or social workers, and those providing professional support to parents/guardians and caregivers of children and adolescents.
As the Foundation, we are pleased to coordinate the activities of this international prevention program in Poland, disseminating this method to our specialists and professionals supporting children and adolescents. The project is funded by the European Union.
We would like to invite you to trainings, which are coming soon!
