The conference is combined with an active presentation of working methods that can be used in supportive work with a young person in elementary school, secondary school and beyond.

Interested persons will be able to receive a certificate of participation in the conference.

About the Conference

The conference is implemented within the framework of the international project Let's Talk About Children, in which Sempre a Frente Foundation participates in the dissemination and implementation of the LTC model in Poland through local training in the professional support method that has been used in Finland for years. The project's activities are aimed at promoting positive parenting in families in difficult situations (mental or physical illness of a parent, war), but will also take a universal approach by using the method in primary and secondary schools, thus providing teachers with a tool to better understand the psychosocial needs of students and their families.

The conference is also part of the nationwide campaign Childhood Without Violence, which opposes child abuse in Poland and promotes solutions that foster a good childhood. The campaign is organized by the Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę Foundation and the National Coalition for Child Protection.

Sempre a Frente Foundation is part of the aforementioned Coalition and is responsible for the implementation of the campaign in the Lublin province. During the conference there will be panels on the subject of counteracting violence with the participation of experts and female experts.

The conference is under the Honorary Patronage of the Lublin Superintendent of Education and the Honorary Patronage of the Mayor of Lublin.

About the project “Let's Talk About Children”

Let's Talk about Children (LTC) is a three-year project in which Sempre a Frente Foundation is participating in the dissemination and implementation of the LTC model in Poland through local training of LTC Practitioners. The project's activities will aim to promote positive parenting in families in difficult situations (mental or physical illness of a parent, war), but will also take a universal approach by implementing LTC in primary and secondary schools, thus providing teachers with a tool to better understand the psychosocial needs of students and their families.

The Let's Talk about Children model is a brief, evidence-based, child-centered psychosocial intervention designed to promote children's mental health and prevent intergenerational transmission of problems by identifying strengths, resources and everyday solutions for children, parents and their social network. LTC can be provided by a range of health, social and education professionals.
