The Sempre a Frente Foundation has received European Union funding for the project “Child Help Center - support for abused children under one roof” (Centrum Pomocy Dzieciom - wsparcie dzieci krzywdzonych pod jednym dachem).

The activity is financed under the European Funds for Lubelskie program, co-financed by the ESF+ (European Social Fund Plus) resources, Priority VIII Increasing cohesion.

The project responds to the real needs that we diagnose in our daily work with children, youth, and caregivers, which is still too large a number of young people experiencing violence.

The project assumes a systemic approach – it will cover not only direct support for children, but also their families and immediate surroundings. Thanks to the project activities, we will realistically improve the functioning of young people in their family, school, and peer environments, and we will be able to more effectively counteract the consequences of violence. Importantly - thanks to the funding, we can provide support to children from both Lublin and the entire voivodeship.

There are a number of activities ahead of us, which will include:

• individual psychological consultations for children and youth – aimed at improving mental well-being and developing coping skills in difficult situations;

• psychological support for parents and caregivers – strengthening educational competencies and family communication;

• group therapy for children and youth – building a sense of security, relationships, and social skills;

• support and educational groups for parents/caregivers – a space to exchange experiences and build a support network;

• legal assistance for parents/caregivers – in the field of children's rights, family law, and protection procedures;

• social assistance consultations - support in navigating the system of benefits and services;

• individual psychotherapy for children and youth – long-term work on emotional difficulties and experiences of violence;

• activities strengthening the competencies of specialists working with children and youth.

We plan that 310 participants will benefit from the support (210 young people and 100 adults). We assume that this group will also include people with disabilities, as well as people from Ukraine or Belarus. We care about the inclusive nature of the help provided.
