Child Advocacy Center in Lublin officially open!
On September 14, we solemnly opened the first Child Advocacy Center in the province and the sixth in Poland!
CAC is an interdisciplinary facility providing free comprehensive assistance (psychological, therapeutic, psychiatric, legal) to children and adolescents up to 18 years of age experiencing violence, at risk of social exclusion, and their non-offending caregivers, regardless of their origin: in Polish, English and Ukrainian. We opened it after almost three years of training, work and preparation, with the foundation Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę and the City of Lublin, as part of the European Youth Capital 2023 program, and equipped in a child-friendly, safe and comfortable way thanks to the support of IKEA Lublin.
We would like to thank everyone present for being with us on this special day and supporting the establishment of this noble initiative in our city.
We invite you to read the full CAC here
