The publication is addressed to teachers and school educators, as well as people working with youth in out-of-school institutions who are looking for materials helpful in conducting educational and preventive classes in the field of safe, conscious and responsible use of the Internet. The book consists of a part entitled Internet in the lives of young people, containing information intended for lecturers, whose aim is to present the role and importance of the Internet in the lives of modern youth, and six thematic modules. Individual cognitive modules consist of theoretical content and lesson plans devoted to the phenomenon of cyberbullying, dangerous contacts, harmful content, creating an image on the web and excessive use of the Internet. The sixth and last module, on the other hand, has a different content layout. It is a practical proposal to use the Internet to develop the interests of young people.
